Elyse has worked as a psychologist for over 20 years, and has experience providing counselling in a variety of settings including King Edward Memorial Hospital, Family Planning WA, Divisions of General Practice, WA Police Service, Rehabilitation and EAP providers. She has been in private practice in Mt Lawley for ten years, in addition to being a part time lecturer in the Sexology Programme at Curtin University for two years. After finishing at Curtin University, Elyse established a practice in Fremantle. She now works from both Mt Lawley Counselling Centre and Port Counselling Centre.

Elyse is a registered Clinical Psychologist and accredited Gestalt Therapist. She provides counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples for a broad range of issues, including anxiety, depression, sexual concerns, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, stress and trauma.

Elyse uses a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to give you the space and opportunity to explore the underlying causes of your personal issues. She is respectful and gentle in her approach, while also providing the support and encouragement to help you develop increased self awareness, and extend your comfort zone.
